Sheringham is the western end of the Bittern Line and the eastern end of the heritage North Norfolk Railway, with a shingle beach, a sea wall lined with beach huts and a High Street that runs down towards the water. Three of our four pubs are in the town itself, close enough to the sea that the beach is a short walk from each.
The Lobster Inn on the High Street runs its rooms alongside the pub and is open about dogs: they are welcome in the pub, and stay in the rooms for £10 a night. Fishmongers Tavern, on Cromer Road, has four bedrooms and a dog-friendly lounge bar. The Two Lifeboats, a pub dating to about 1720 on the High Street, has six en-suite rooms above the bar. Three miles west along the coast, the Ship Inn at Weybourne is a flint-walled village pub with four rooms and dogs welcome in the bar.
Dog policies in Sheringham are less documented than elsewhere on this coast — three of the four don’t say anything about bedrooms — so we’ve marked those as unknown rather than guess. A phone call before you book will settle it.

- Which pubs with rooms in Sheringham have parking?
- Not much of it in the centre. The Lobster Inn says its parking is limited and points to a pay-and-display car park nearby, and the Two Lifeboats has no car park of its own, though a public one is close by. We haven't confirmed parking for the Fishmongers Tavern. The Ship Inn at Weybourne, three miles along the coast, lists parking.
- What counts as a "pub with rooms" in Sheringham?
- A bar you could walk into for a pint, with bedrooms attached. The Lobster Inn, Fishmongers Tavern and Two Lifeboats are all town pubs with rooms, and the Ship Inn at Weybourne is a flint village pub three miles away. We've left out the guest houses and holiday cottages that Sheringham has plenty of.

- The pubs are, the bedrooms are less clear. The Lobster Inn welcomes dogs in the pub and lets them stay for £10 a night.
