Pubs with Rooms

Covering Cumbria, Derbyshire, Lancashire and North Yorkshire

Pubs with Rooms

Pubs with rooms are everywhere. What's harder to find is whether the kitchen's actually open the night you want to eat, or whether your dog can sit with you at dinner. We check both, place by place, and say plainly when we haven't found out yet.

Regions

Lakes, fells and the Lake District National Park.

The Peak District and the Derwent Valley.

The Ribble Valley and the fells of the Forest of Bowland.

Moors, dales and coast — market towns with pubs worth staying at.

Every pub with rooms

Every pub with rooms we know of in a town, not just a shortlist. If we haven't checked something yet, we say so.

Where your dog can go

Bedroom, bar and restaurant at dinner — checked separately, because a pub can say yes to one and no to another.

How good the food is

From simple pub grub to Michelin stars, plus the kitchen days and booking rules that decide whether dinner actually happens.

How we mark dog policy

A pub can let dogs in the bedroom and turn them away from the restaurant at dinner — so we check bedroom, bar and dinner separately for every pub. "Not confirmed" means we haven't checked yet, not that the answer's no — worth a quick call to the pub before you book.
