West Yorkshire’s pubs with rooms are in the South Pennine valleys, and our three towns each have a distinct character. Haworth is Brontë country — a steep cobbled Main Street of pubs, with the moors above. Hebden Bridge sits in the Calder Valley, a canal-and-mill town with village pubs up the hillsides at Heptonstall and along the valley at Mytholmroyd. Holmfirth, in the Holme Valley, is Last of the Summer Wine country, with pubs in town and a few miles up onto the moor.

They’re hill-town pubs rather than seaside or Dales ones, so most of the walking starts from the door and goes up. We’ve checked each pub the same honest way as everywhere else on this site — dog policy for bedrooms, bar and restaurant, and what the kitchen actually does — and where a pub hasn’t said, we show that as unknown rather than guess.
