A mid-19th-century corner pub outside Chalk Farm station, with its original Courage fascia uncovered in a 2016 refurbishment.

- On record: When the pub was refurbished in 2016, builders uncovered its original Courage fascia, complete with lettering for Alton (Hampshire) Pale Ale, which CAMRA calls rare. Camden Council's local listing describes the building as a mid-19th-century pub, so the old signwriting is a rare survival rather than a legend.
