A bit of history
The pub's site says 'Est. 1885' and that the family firm began when Michael O'Neill, from Tipperary, bought a pub on what was then Great Brunswick Street in 1911, so the two dates differ. It says four generations of the O'Neill family have run it since, between the docks and Westland Row station.
