The O2, on the Greenwich Peninsula, hosts concerts and events all year, and the pubs with rooms nearest to it are in Greenwich and across the Thames on the Isle of Dogs. Getting between the two sides means the Jubilee line, the DLR, the cable car or a river boat, depending on your pub.
Distances are straight-line map estimates from the arena, not walking times, and we haven’t visited. We’ve been more cautious here than elsewhere: for most of these pubs we couldn’t find a clear dog policy, and we say so rather than guess.

Which pubs with rooms are nearest to the O2?
The Pilot in Greenwich is about 0.6 miles from the O2 in a straight line, the Waterman's Arms and Pelton Arms about 1.1 miles, and the Angerstein Hotel about 1.3. The Mitre, near Cutty Sark, is about 1.7. These are map estimates, and the river between the Isle of Dogs and the O2 means you can't walk directly.
Which are best for the Jubilee line?
The Pilot is about a 12-minute walk from North Greenwich on the Jubilee line, which also serves the O2. The Greenwich pubs near Cutty Sark are on the DLR instead, and the Angerstein Hotel is at Westcombe Park.
Do any of these pubs allow dogs in the bedrooms?
We haven't confirmed that for any of them. CAMRA WhatPub lists the Mitre, Angerstein and Waterman's Arms as dog friendly in the bar, and the Booking.com listings for the Angerstein, Ship Inn and Fox Connaught say pets aren't allowed, though that isn't confirmed with the pubs. Call before you book if you're bringing a dog.
